My love of photography started about fifteen years ago. Studying the visual arts has allowed me to gain experience as a cinematographer and camera operator for broadcast television programs produced by the Public Broadcasting Service (WBGU-PBS), film on camera auditions while working at a talent agency in Chicago casting for television, films and theatre and in September 2016, I was able to host my first successful solo art show in Zurich, Switzerland. While I currently live in Switzerland, I love to travel near and far to capture photos of unique places and people. Please visit my Instagram page (ZenderStudios) to view additional black/white as well as color photography.
I firmly believe that if we have the ability, it is our responsibility to give back to the community and the world. For the last decade, I have given my time and services as an event photographer for Parker’s Purpose, an organization that helps families with disabled children get the resources that they need. I have also photographed events for Project 375, an organization owned by NFL player Brandon Marshall, which works to end the stigma surrounding mental illness. Finally, I continue to volunteer my time and skills to Room to Read, an international organization that helps to bring books and education to developing countries.
